hullo, my name is...

"Travel does what good novelists also do to the life of everyday, placing it like a picture in a frame or a gem in its setting, so that the intrinsic qualities are made more clear. Travel does this with the very stuff that everyday life is made of, giving to it the sharp contour and meaning of art." - Freya Stark

I have been mulling over this quote for several days now and have come to a personally life-defining conclusion.
Taking the small thoughts, ideas, and paraphernalia of the everyday, wiping away the dust of doubt and desensitization to reveal value-
In this I find great purpose and joy.

And so with this simple blog I would like to create an archive of the various inspirations of my days. As a great relative of mine once said, "Yes, of course (this age) is materialistic, but the only way to counteract it is to create spiritual things. Don't worry yourself about the materialism too much. Create and stir other people to create!" (Robert Frost)

Thank you.
and nice to meet you.
